Obsessed with books

I'll put something real here later. For now just testing this out versus GoodReads.
Radiant Shadows - Melissa Marr

Best of the series so far, by far. Loved Devlin and Ani's characters and conflicts.

Fragile Eternity - Melissa Marr Better than the second one, with more emotion. Still not loving it, but improved.
Ink Exchange - Melissa Marr This was ok. Wished for a little more romance, a little more concentration in Niall as well. The story was good, but the emotions were a bit lacking.
The Red Pyramid - Rick Riordan Thought it was long, but great. Amusing at times.
Wicked Lovely - Melissa Marr Surprisingly really liked it. Loved how it wasn't a typical boy-meets-girl whatsoever. Looking forward to the next.
Bad Boys in Kilts - Donna Kauffman This was cute. Nothing spectacular, but good characters with issues for short stories. Cute.
Definitely Dead - Charlaine Harris Such a random interlude into her life.
Burn - Maya Banks Not a fan of this one. I was so looking forward to Ash's story, and then she made him even crazier than Jace was. He was the fun one, and I wanted to see that. Boo. And Josie was a weak pushover. The whole thing was too unbelievable to be good.
Fever - Maya Banks It was ok. Loved the drunk scene, but Jace was just so angry and irrational the whole book I just couldn't get into it as much as the last book.
Rush - Maya Banks I first likened this to Fifty Shades, but extremely well-written, unlike Fifty. About halfway it veered off into its own actual story, and I liked that too.

My pet peeves: Gabe changed. I know, I know, character growth and all that. But I really liked him at the beginning then he got a bit dull. I also disliked the conflict with Charles that felt really thrown in there.

Generally liked it, and excited to read the next.
The Bounty - Beth Williamson Adorable read. Lots of action and emotion. Loved the original concept.
Dare You To - Katie McGarry Beautiful, beautiful writing. Sucked me in straight from the beginning. The characters were beautiful, deep, emotional. Beth was such a bitch, and the fact that the author got me to like her and also felt like she wasn't exaggerating her emotions was amazing.

Sad that I started with book 2, but now I need to gobble up book 1 as well.
Her Favorite Rival (Harlequin Superromance) - Sarah Mayberry Definitely cute, and so emotional. Characters as usual were deep and complex, and there were only a couple exaggerated scenes, my least favorite. But good, as usual.
The Host - Stephenie Meyer Surprisingly extremely good. The writing in Twilight, though it hooked me, was so simple, that I didn't really know what to expect with this one. This was so well written, thick, emotional, and so different. May be buying this one to reread.
Club Dead - Charlaine Harris Much better than the second. Other than the throwing it in your face that everyone wants Sookie, the action was great, the emotions complicated, and I'll definitely keep reading.
The Lightning Thief - Rick Riordan Really enjoyed. I always loved Greek myths, and this new take on it was fabulous. Excited to read the next.
