So, I got a tad bored in the middle of this book, but overall I think it did redeem itself toward the end. Since I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series, I'd give it 3 stars for nothing super amazing, but keeping me interested and reading.The bad of this book - there were so many times I thought to myself "this scene could have been completely deleted." The book went too quickly in the beginning with the relationship, then slowly afterward. I would have liked MORE of the witchcraft, more spells, more learning about herself rather than dying whenever she wasn't around Vance. It would have been nice to see a little more of HER without him.
But in general, the story was cute, and the writing was pretty good for a self-published Young Adult author. I do look forward to continuing the series.
