Way too much suspense for my liking. The first book had a good combination of romance and suspense, but there was just too much here for me to fully enjoy.Cassie and Shane were both believable and likable characters with good chemistry. I think I would have liked a little more internal struggle on Shane's end, since he was burned so badly, but it was ok.
Not my favorite Lauren Dane book, but looking forward to the next in the series anyway.
